Nice Drives have completed two projects for one customer based in Solihull. Improvements at both the front and back of the house include a new sandstone garden patio and path to the rear of the property and a smart new cobble paved driveway at the front. At the rear of the property, we installed a sandstone patio and pathway, with a curved kerbstone border to define and retain the flower beds. This project also called for a new semi-circle back door step.
The new front drive is cobblestone with a smart contrasting border. Cobblestone is a great choice for a traditional-style property. It’s hardwearing, long-lasting, low maintenance and good for both driveways and patios and pathways. This project involved removing some old shrubs, which reduces maintenance further and also increases the size of the driveway, which is available for parking cars.
The old driveway surface was removed and disposed of before thorough groundwork preparations were carried out prior to installing the new cobblestones, including installing appropriate drainage. Cobblestones are available in a wide range of colours. This new drive delivers vast improvements in terms of appearance and usability. The customer was delighted!
